BooYaa is using Cloud Dancer as a foundation for its next design evolution, aimed at balancing quiet sophistication with embracing bold energy, says BooYaa.

"When Cloud Dancer was announced, my first reaction was that it felt safe," says Ruan Lotz, Co-Owner and Brand Developer of BooYaa Golf. "But once we explored how it behaves in real design applications, it became clear that this isn't plain white. It's a refined, adaptable neutral that gives other colours room to breathe. For a brand like ours that thrives on strong highlight tones, that's a powerful tool."

BooYaa plans to introduce the colour across key pieces in its 2026 collection, including advanced trouser fabrics and selected performance and lifestyle items. The shade will act as a premium base layer for the brand's vivid accents (neons, saturated primaries and bold graphics), creating contrast that aims to feel modern and intentional rather than chaotic, adds BooYaa.

"The challenge with off-white is making sure it never feels flat or safe. Our solution focuses on the details, for example, premium textured fabrics, performance materials with depth, considered trims, unexpected stitching and strong highlight blocking. The Cloud Dancer base calms the eye, and then the BooYaa elements land with more impact," says Lotz.

Beyond colour, the brand sees Cloud Dancer as an emotional signal for where BooYaa is headed in 2026. The soft neutral introduces a sense of quiet confidence and understated luxury, while still leaving space for the brand's energetic personality, adds BooYaa.

"It gives us a clean slate. But we are not toning ourselves down. We are using that calm backdrop to make our identity even sharper. You will see designs that move easily from the course to everyday life. It will be premium, wearable and unmistakably BooYaa," says Lotz.

As golf fashion continues shifting toward lifestyle-driven expression, BooYaa's interpretation of Cloud Dancer aims to positions the brand at the intersection of global trend awareness and distinctly South African boldness, adds BooYaa.

"Cloud Dancer lets our highlights shine brighter. We are not following the trend. We are turning it up to match our energy. That is playing it BooYaa," concludes Lotz.
