The podcast will hear stories of family, love and parenting in the spotlight from guests including Bridgerton actor, Adjoa Andoh, The Receipts podcast Co-Host, Audrey Akande, Australian football pro, Katrina Gorry, activist and Bollywood star Kalki Koechlin and more, says BBC.

Having never worked in broadcasting, Kombo won the BBC World Service's first International Podcast Competition in 2021. The idea for Dear Daughter came from her decision to start writing letters to her young daughter. In each episode, a guest reads a letter they've written to their child with the advice, lessons and stories they'd like to pass on, adds the broadcaster.

Dear Daughter has seen awards success, most notably winning Podcast of the Year at the British Podcast Awards 2022, adds BBC.

Kombo says, "The Dear Daughter podcast is a wonderfully universal reflection of personal growth and versatility. As a daughter and a mum, I have felt both seen and heard through the letters and voices of our guests. It has been an honour to create a space for these stories to be told for the love of our daughters and the nuanced lives that they live."

"For this season, I have been speaking to some amazing parents who have been touched by fame about the advice they have for their daughters. As always the stories are honest, heartfelt and sometimes terrifying and I cannot wait for you to tune in," adds Kombo.

BBC World Services concludes that the first episode of Dear Daughter: Stars will be available on Friday, 28 February, with new episodes released weekly on podcast platforms and visualised episodes on YouTube. It will be followed by the return of Dear Daughter Season 5 in May.
